request: tilt wheel + right button
Hi there, I'm not sure if this has been requested. I wish to simulate keys for tilt wheel left or right combined with right mouse button pressing still. Thanks.
Re: request: tilt wheel + right button
I'm not entirely sure what you mean.
Cant you use the already existing tags:
{TILTL}, {TILTR} & {RMB} ?
Thanks,
Phil

Re: request: tilt wheel + right button
Hi, I mean an additional function offered for user to simulate keys. The function is indicated at the red rectangle location shown from the http://img233.imageshack.us/i/image002m.png/. The function could be called "pressing still Right mouse button + Tilt wheel right".
Re: request: tilt wheel + right button
And how would that be different from the many other combinations? right button and 4th button, right button and 5th button etc. etc.
That essentially is called button chording and its already requested several times, and so far not done because of the amount of work involved and timing problems that user level programs have that would reuqire proper mouse drivers to avoid. Chording, like gestures, might happen one day but don't get excited - its one of the most complex issues thus is way down the priorities list (for XMBC and my life in general!).
Thanks,
Phil

Re: request: tilt wheel + right button
Now I got what is button chording. Buttons are really not enough in a mouse anyway. Wish button chording comes true in the future. Thanks Phil.
