Japanese translation for XMBC 2.17 Beta12-13
Japanese2.xmbclp

@Bata13
In the "Advanced settings" tab, "Initial repeat r&ate" and "&Repeat tilt rate" items are not displayed (even in the English screen.)
And the description field in the "Choose Application" dialog (not "Find window") still has been translated.

Thanks,
suke

LOL, OK so I fixed the wrong window....
Every time I fix one someone finds another so this time, I found (and fixed) the other and not the one you mentioned!!!!
I'll try and do that one in the next beta (sigh I was hoping we had reached the end).
As for the initial and repeat - your right, and I hadn't noticed - when did that happen!!??? I'll investigate.

Yes it did... It was because I added a new checkbox... which for some reason, visual studio decided to wipe out the text from those two field (very odd). I will have to beware of that next time I change the dialog template!

Fixed it for beta 14.
And fixed the custom window (the confusion is because its not called that in the code (it was renamed) and there is something else named very similar to custom window (customapp - which is the "Run Application" window that I fixed)

New template for 2.17 Beta 16 with about 8 [EDIT only 5] new/modified translations
See attached template
language_template.xmbclp
I hope this will be the last template before 2.17 is released but I've said that before so no promises!

Regards,
Phil

That is too technical for me. 😇 I'm a translator.
Can someone explain to me in a few words what this means?

Code: Select all

… keyboard scan code

1. The keyboard scan code is the digital code representing the physical key on the keyboard matrix. Its like the virtual key code, except its directly related to the language of the keyboard etc. whereas the virtual key code is hardware/language independent. How it translates, i don't know.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scancode

2. ovement to scroll default action - select "Change movement to scroll" in the "default action" combo box, select simuated keystrokes - you should see it in the simkeys window title. Thats the only place.

3. Button held - in the main dropdowns near the top (used to be "button held time dependent actions" which is still in the dialog that pops up so don't remove the old translation!

I said "about 8" not exactly 8 - I couldn't be bothered going back and counting them - I guess I should have. I have now counted, I see 4 (not sure about the 5th you mention) :)

Thanks,
Phil
