The XMouse software is awesome!
For years, the Logitech software has kept my mouse's sidebutton mapped to the middle click function, but lately this has become very flakey. I don't know why but the software just can't seem to make that one thing work anymore.
I'm sure it comes as no surprise that XMOUSE works without any problems and is easy to set up. What a huge relief - I can get back to work now and quit wasting my time messing with Logitech's buggy utility!
