Possible problem with 2.3 vs Skype 5.6.110

I have problems since early or some mid 2.3 betas with Skype but i'm unsure if it's XMB related yet

what happens is that either key like shift-ctrl gets locked or keyboard type (EN to Czech) gets changed

it happens only in the Skype application and not outside (so it's not other software or hardware related)

and it happens only if XMB runs or never experienced it w/o

any idea what is it/how fix it?

Urm I cant see what could cause that.
XMBC does use US-English keyboard mappings to send some hotkeys so perhaps it could be causing a problem if the keyboard gets switched to US-English, although it shouldn't as its just loading the mapping internally rather than globally I think).

What is your XMBC configuration (button mappings etc)? do you have skype specific profiles? Can you turn on debug logging and see if there is anything in there.

Occasionally I get keys (CTRL/SHIFT/ALT etc.) getting stuck down (with and without XMBC) but normally hitting the key will fix it. I've always had that in Windows and have gotten used to ignoring/fixing it - I'm sure that in my case its not XMBC related.

Has it worked with previous versions (does it still work with previous versions). I don't think I've changed anything in language/key injection area in 2.3

i don't remember to have such problems prior 2.3 build (or new skype build)

OK I will try and have a look at it soon. Maybe this weekend if not before.
But it would be nice to find out your XMBC configuration and maybe some debug log in the meantime.
