Is it possible to do this?

Post by rdanielb »

XMBC Version 2.19.2 [/b]
Installed [/b]
Windows 11[/b]:
Marvo m720w[/b]:
17 11th 16 ram[/b]:

When you hold down the 4 key for more than 200ms (using the button hold function), the scroll wheel changes from vertical movement to horizontal movement, and when you hold down the 4 key again for 200ms, the scrolling will return to its original state.
The objective is to be able to use the mouse scroll to be able to move both vertically and horizontally, and to be able to alternate its use between one form and another.
Is there any way to do that? Either how I put it there or some alternative way to accomplish the same goal.

Hi, I’m away at the moment so I will be brief and probably reply in more detail next week when I’m home..

It might be possible using layers - on layer two set the scroll up/down to tilt left/right then on button 4 (on both layers) set the hold action to switch to layer one/two

I thought of that too, but among the functions of the retained buttons there is no option to change layers, or at least I haven't found it.

You can use simulated keystrokes and the {layer:2} tag probably!
