Post by harryblump »

XMBC Version: 2.19.2
Windows Version: Windows 10 Professional
Mouse Information (brand/model): Kensington, Wacom
Relevant Computer Information (CPU, RAM etc):
Did the problem occur after an upgrade of XMBC? (If so, from what version?): No
Did the problem occur after a Windows update/upgrade? (If so, from what version?): No
How long have you used XMBC?: 6 years
What language and keyboard layout do you use in Windows?: English

Clear description of the problem - try and include as much information as possible, including what button and mappings you are having problems with (if applicable).:
My computer's C drive crashed and I had to get a new computer. I wasn't able to create a backup of my XMouse settings file. However, I do have access to all my XMouse standard files from my own computer. Is there any way I can reconstruct my old system profile, say from one of the XML files?

Yes, if you have access to the XML files - -especially XMBCSettings.xml, just copy that to the new computer.
You should find it under c:\users\<your user name>\appdata\Roaming\Highresolution Enterprises\XMouseButtonControl
Your whole profile is stored in that file - so if you have it - you should be OK.

If you don't have that file, and didn't export your profile anywhere then I guess you may be out of luck
