Can I use X mouse button control with Microsoft mouse without borders?

I don't know but I don#'t see why not. XMBC will only work on the computer it is installed on, so if you want to remap buttons on a different machine, you may have to install XMBC on both/all. Grab the portable version and try it - no need to install it to try it out (although the installed version can do a little more so if it works you may want to use the installed version).
