Scrolling in Excel (by Layer question)

XMBC Version 2.19.2:
Windows Version 10 x64:
Mouse Information Logitech M317:
How long have you used XMBC? Novice:

I want to be able to scroll by 1 line at a time in Excel, which I have been able to do by changing the Scrolling/Advanced Window Scrolling/Vertical Lines to 1. However, sometimes, I would prefer to scroll by more lines e.g. 5. I was hoping there would be a way to assign scrolling lines to a layer, but can't seem to do that. I also tried setting Layer 2 Wheel Up/Wheel Down to PgUp/PgDn, but that is too much and using modifier keys is clunky for this (IMHO.) Ideally I would like to hold a modifier key down e.g. Shift and have it scroll by 5 lines at a time versus only one when shift is not down. Is there any way to do this? Even with another tool like AutoHotKey to change a setting on X-Mouse. Thanks!

Hi,

Its not currently possible, and I cant think of any way to make it possible with XMBC. At the end of the day, XMBC is simply changing the windows setting - it may be possible to do that outside XMBC in Autohotkey (or other) but Im not sure - you may be better off asking on the AHK forums!
