changed mouse settings great but pointer size is tiny, any way to adjust/increase pointer size?

Are you changing the cursor in XMBC? If so, what settings are you using? The normal windows cursor settings should apply, unless you choose to change the cursor in XMBC.
However, as of 2.19, XMBC adds some overlays to the cursor to indicate various functions - this ca be turned off in the cursor settings tab - maybe turn them off to check if that is causing a problem with cursor size - perhaps adding the overlays breaks something (I did test it with different cursor sizes and it seemed to work for me- maybe it could be DPI related - what DPI do you use in Windows (is your display 4k?).
Also as of 2.19, you can choose a cursor per profile. There is a build in list of 7 or so coloured cursors - they are fixed size but you can add your own cursors to that list by dropping them into the XMBC settings folder.
