Did the problem occur after an upgrade of XMBC? (If so, from what version?): no problems
Did the problem occur after a Windows update/upgrade? (If so, from what version?):
How long have you used XMBC?:
What language and keyboard layout do you use in Windows?:

Clear description of the problem - try and include as much information as possible, including what button and mappings you are having problems with (if applicable).:
Hello. It is beyond my brain capacity to understand the manual or anything else I have read about this software. I'm a senile old man. All I want to do right now is direct the <Enter> key to mouse button 4 or 5. If I could just get step-by-step specific, I am sure that I could get through the rest. Please? and Thank you.

Sure...

1. Open the main setup window
2. For button 4 or 5 select "Simulated keystrokes"
3. In the Simulated Keystrokes configuration window that poops up, type {ENTER} into the "Enter the custom keys" text box.
4. Select the method to send - if you want the ENTER key sent as the button is pressed, leave it as method 1. Use method 2 if you want the ENTER key pressed as the button is released (when you let go) or Method 3 if you want the ENTER key pressed and held while you hold the button and released as you release the button.
5. Hit OK to save and dismiss the sim. keys. setup.
6. Press Apply to apply your changes, then give it a test.

Thanks
Phil
