Oops - I added 8 and then realized it wasn't sensible (as in its not supposed to be there) and I guess I didn't remove it again ... LOL... I checked and 9 is fine for {PRESS} and {RELEASE}....

As for the positions of the launch options, I put in in other because they are kind'a unique and are only going to work for some people... and it kind'a fitted with Run application. But I know what you mean and moving them around wont be too difficult - just finding the right place is the problem haha.

I have € symbol in 5/% key of keyboard but I have no idea how to use it. Pressing it with Alt Gr (or left Ctrl Alt) doesn't help. With Alt Key I can have Polish letters when I press certain keys, so: eóaslzzcn

On the UK keyboard the 4 key is $ and € - Alt Gr + 4 = €
Of course, being from the Uk I have no idea how to use € either  :( :(

Wow when XMBC is enabled I can't have them! They work with XMBC disabled: eóaslzzcn (but € still I can't).

EDIT: no, no, no! I can use them with XMBC disabled / enabled. I can even have them here on forum, but after I click Preview / Submit button they are displayed like in the above! So it's another forum bug :?

Here is 2.19 Beta 7...

If you have check for beta versions enabled, you should get notified of a new version and prompted to update in the next day or so. This is the most efficient method (bandwidth wise) as the updates are only a fraction of the size of the full install. Otherwise, you can get the full installation beta HERE. Note that this link will always get you the latest beta version!

NOTE: 2.19 Beta 1 and 2 had an incorrect version number internally and therefore the update check may fail. In this case, please manually install using the link above!

Changes since v2.19 Beta 6:
  • #662 - Fixed missing debug highlight (red splodge) on the disabled icon.
  • #661 - Fixed an issue causing incorrect profile to be highlighted in settings screen.
  • #660 - Fixed an issue causing scroll problems in some apps (like Minecraft).
  • #659 - Unable to switch profiles on installed version after #654 changes
  • #629 - Added ability to cycle through 4 preset cursor speeds using a button or global hotkey.
  • #612 - More fixes for incorrect text in the dropdown menu not being translated!
There is a new language template file for 2.19 Beta 7!

Any problems, PM me a copy of the log file (or post a snippet in a code block here).

Thanks,
Phil

As you see the mouse icon got yellow dot in left bottom corner when it's active, but the problem is it is on black background. Normally background was transparent, so mouse icon was surrounded by taskbar colour:

Ah - my taskbar is black so I didn't notice! Doh..
Its the indication for the cursor speed cycle by the way and goes from 1 to 4 dots. I'll see if I can make the background tranparent again, if not I'll remove the dots.

I hope you can keep dots, because they are good idea however I never needed to change mouse speed. But after all that other icon background is very bad looking when taskbar got other color or also is transparent.

Btw I tried to increase number of yellow dots by settings but nothing worked, how to do that?

Yellow dots indicate the new "Cycle cursor speed" you setup the speed steps in the new "Pointer" tab and then you assign a button to cycle cursor speed, or a global hotkey to cycle cursor speed. When triggered, XMBC will skip to the next speed (1-4 and back to 1 again).

I'll do my best to fix the icon - need to learn how to do transparency in C++ - its not simple as I found out this morning but it must be possible - just need to work out the right code! I didn't ever notice that when in debug mode, the icon is also buggered up (its supposed to have a red outline but NOT a black border which it does - same code, same problem!).

Now I could test it, thx!

It's not big problem but I noticed the yellow dots (when there are 4 on bottom of XMBC icon) are one pixel too far to left. I mean they are not centered, however, maybe it's not possible to shift them, as then they can be one pixel to close to right :D You may simply in that case make 1 pixel more between 2nd and 3rd yellow dot, to make they look symmetric ;)

I can put them where I want I think - but Ive already changed it (for the next beta), it now has NO dots for speed 1, then 1 dot, 2 dots, 3 dots... That way if your not using the feature, you wont see any dots (and get confused).
I have also got the transparency working - phew!

That's maybe best idea to make no dot for normal speed and then 3 for 3 other.

Loll, I had the same problem with Bridge (image browser) where is star ratings for images. They normally are without ratings, but if someone uses them, he may mark an image by 1 to 5 stars. The problem I had to solve was how Photoshop can recognise how many duplicates of same image it must process.

Intitially I did like you, so one star was for no duplicates, but that was same as image with no star, so I decided one star will mean the certain image needs one duplicate, so 5 stars would be one image plus 5 duplicates, 6 images in sum :)

Good we have same approach to similar problem, it's like we both invented the wheel on other globe sides, without knowing each other ;)

btw when I looked closer at icon with 3 yellow dots I noticed they are now closer to right side, but I thought with 3 only they should be centered with no problem (because of same spaces between edges).
