X-mouse stops mouse wheel scrolling in Xara Designer Premium

Mouse Information (brand/model): Generic bluetooth mouse
Computer Information: Laptop Intel I7
Did the problem occur after an upgrade of XMBC?: No
Did the problem occur after a Windows update/upgrade?: No
How long have you used XMBC?: Years
What language and keyboard layout do you use in Windows?: UK English

Clear description of the problem:
If X-Mouse is enabled, I cannot use the mouse wheel to scroll in one application - Xara Web Designer Premium. No other application is affected.

All I have changed is I have swapped buttons 4 & 5. No other modifications.

If I disable X-Mouse, the scrolling works OK.

Is there a way to configure X-Mouse so that it passes the mouse scroll wheel to the application?

Hi, by default XMBC remaps the scroll to the wheel under the cursor - and I guess in this case, thats not the right thing to do.
You can turn this off globally (in general settings, Make scroll wheel scroll window under cursor) or per application if you create an application profile for the app that does not work (profile options tab, disable scroll wheel under cursor).
