Post by gregoryerik »

XMBC Version: 2.17
Windows Version: win 10
Mouse Information (brand/model): logitech
Computer Information:
Did the problem occur after an upgrade of XMBC or Windows?: no
How long have you used XMBC?: 6 months
What language and keyboard layout do you use in Windows?: English

Clear description of the problem:
How to assign different function in the same key on the second and subsequent click.
I want to assign my right click mouse button to {CTRL} {END} on first click, and then {CTRL} {HOME} on the next click, and if possible on the subsequent click becomes {CTRL} {END} again.

It may be possible to do this usingh layers, but its a bit complicated!...
If you set layer one to sent {CTRL}{END}{LAYER2}
then set layer 2 to {CTRL}{HOME}{LAYER1} it will cycle throguh the layers each time you press the button. The problem may be with that that it is a direct cycle so every time you press it will alternate betweren ctrl+end, then ctrtl+home, then ctrl+end, then ctrl+home and so on.... Is that acceptable or do you want the 4th 5th 6th clicks to remain as ctrl+end? If you do its more difficult!

Im away on holiday right now so if you struggle with the layer commands let me know and I'll get back to you next week when I get home.
