I've just released X-Mouse Button Control version 2.18 - Happy New Year!

Version 2.18 brings several new features and enhancements along with many bug fixes and minor changes.
You can find the latest version (including the portable version) in the usual place, on the downloads page (mirror).

For a complete list of changes, check out the version history.
The user guide (included in the installation but not the automatic updates) can also be found here or here (mirror).
NOTE: I have updated the user guide to reflect the changes in 2.18 but the XMBC update does not include this (to keep the download sizes small). The URLs above will provide the latest version, as does the full installation package.

PLEASE NOTE: This topic is locked. If you want something to be added or you have found a bug or you want help in setting up and using XMBC, please create a new topic of your own where your issues or ideas can be discussed. When doing this, please provide as much information as possible (see posting rules for details) where your issues or ideas can be discussed.

Once again, I would like to thank everyone who has helped me beta test this release, and to all those providing the language packs/translations. (B)

OK it has been a few weeks since I release 2.18 and several bugs have crept out.
Therefore I have just published 2.18.1, a maintenance release to fix only those bugs.

For a complete list of changes, check out the version history.

I have just published 2.18.3, a maintenance release to fix two more bugs related to Chrome, where there was a problem with profile detection when switching tabs and scrolling the bookmarks menu.

For a complete list of changes, check out the version history.

OK last week I release 2.18.4 and now, 2.18.5.
As usual, the change log lists the fixes.
I guess I should have expected a few bugs given all the internal changes in 2.18 - I figure its better to fix them and release minor updates quickly rather than another prolonged beta where the release falls behind in terms of little fixes - I hope you agree!?

I've added another download server into the mix - so now the load it spread around multiple VPS's (all hosted in the UK right now I'm afraid - I'm not sure I can justify the added expense of having servers located around the world for such a small download file!). Let me know if you have any trouble downloading or updating XMBC.

I released 2.18.6 a little earlier today that fixes a few more bugs reported in 2.18.
Hopefully that will close out 2.18 and I can start looking at 2.19 - we shall see.

As a side note; I also want to thank everyone who donated to our 2018 charity fund raising campaign for Epilepsy Research UK. With your help our team raised over £1080 and in total the event raised over £94,000 for the charity which will no doubt be well received!
The charity fund raising page is now closed.

Regards,
Phil

A minor update to 2.18.8 has just been published.
This actually only affects the portable version so not really important if your not using portable mode.

Two fixes:
  • #646 - Portable detection not working if run from a folder name starting with "C:\Program Files"
  • #639 - Portable version can leave traces (folders and registry settings) that it should not.
Now I guess it must be time to get started on 2.19 beta!
