Slow Down Cursor set to mouse button possible?

Post by don0098 »

I know that slow down cursor can be set in the "other modifiers" in the settings by using keyboard key. I have the keyboard key set to "App Menu Key" and it works fine.

My question is why there's not an option to just set one of the mouse buttons for slow down cursor???

I think that would make things so much easier. Also, make it so that it can be used as button held, or press once to activate and press again to let go.

I tried to set one of the mouse buttons to "App Menu Key" to activate the slow down mouse cursor after I set the modifier, but it did not trigger the slow down. The slow down only activates when the actual keyboard key was pressed.

Its not there simply because I didn't think about it and no one else has asked!
I'll add it to the todo list!

It (two new button actions to slow down the cursor (sticky/toggle and normal (while pressed))) will be in the next beta (2.18 beta 14)
Which I am about to make available. When its ready, you can grab the beta from here if you want to test it out.

Thanks,
Phil
