Modifier keys frozen

Post by MrMikeHunt »

XMBC Version: 2.18 beta 9
Windows Version: 10 enterpris
Mouse Information (brand/model): Logitech M310
Computer Information: DELL Latitude 5580
Did the problem occur after an upgrade of XMBC or Windows?:
How long have you used XMBC?: 6 years
What language and keyboard layout do you use in Windows?: ENG DEU

Clear description of the problem:

Several times during the day it happens that despite releasing the layer selection button (shift / left control / left alt) the program remembers that this button is pressed. Then it's necessary to press and release this button again.
Can it be OS (windows 10, 64 bit) problem or my wrong settings in X Mouse Button ?

Thats an odd one... Maybe you have found a bug - but I would have expected others to have simiular problems if thats the case..
My guess is that XMBC is not seeing the modifier key get release (for some reason).

Can you please enable debug logging (in settings -> updates and logging)
then wait for it to go wrong again, then send me a copy of the debug log (via PM or email or just paste it here (it might be too big for that))

Thanks,
Phil
