i download it but doesn't open!!! WHy ??? Why?????

Why oh why can you not read the rules and give the required information.
The post template clearly leads you down this path does it not?!

There are a multitude of reasons it may not be opening, but given your inability to read the forum rules, probably the most likely, it is opening but you have not read the manual so don't know what you are doing.

XMBC is designed NOT to show any user interface when it is opened. its a service utility that pops an icon into the system tray ((by the clock) or in the hidden system tray.

Of course, its also possible that XMBC is crashing for some reason, but lets start with the more likely reasons (above) first.

i created the rules but 'noone' reads them!!! WHy ??? Why?????

I'm sorry, was it not obvious? You could now tell me the information I request in the forum rules.
The version of XMBC you have installed for starters would be good, no,, essential. Then how about all the other informaiton requested in the post templates...

Mouse Information (brand/model):
Computer Information:
Did the problem occur after an upgrade of XMBC or Windows?:
How long have you used XMBC?:
What language and keyboard layout do you use in Windows?:

Clear description of the problem:
Then you could answer my question above. Is XMBC running, is the icon in the system tray or hidden in the expanding system tray (as described on the very first (title) page of the user manual and in the FAQ)

Maybe when you have provided this basic information I will be able to help. otherwise, what chance have I got?

Again, I'm sorry, but I'm sick and tired of new users NOT reading the rules and NOT providing the basic information required to even start thinking about what might be wrong. Its not that difficult you know!
