win 10 notifications not functioning

the win 10 notifications arent functioning for me. i get the native win 10 notifications for XMBC betas but when clicked nothing happens or the notification is just dismissed. maybe this is correct function but i feel like it should take me to the location in the app that its alerting me to. upgrading the beta.

For me it just opens https://www.highrez.co.uk/downloads/XMo ... ontrol.htm (I can't see beta there and dl it manually from the forum instead)
Is that because I'm using it in portable mode?

Yes, portable mode a) doesn't install so linking to the installer update would miss the point, and I don't build portable beta packages unless there is a really good reason to (like a bug in portable mode only)
