How to make X-Mouse (1.48) scroll as Freewheel?

Post by Gege »

Hello,

I try to use X-Mouse 1.48. Excellent work!

It works fine, but it seems that the "Make scroll wheel window under cursor" can only scroll the window which has the input focus, not really the window underneath the mouse pointer.

Is it possible to configure X-Mouse as Freewheel 2.4 of Jim BARRY can do? (original but dead link here : http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/ ... ewheel.zip but available here: http://www.technovia.eu/download/freewheel.zip)

Freewheel offers 2 "Focus Modes"
- Scroll the window which has the input focus,
- Scroll the window underneath the mouse pointer.

This second mode is very useful for some applications having several controls acting as "subwindows".

Is a way to configure X-Mouse to have this behavior?

Many Thanks

Gérard
