comodo/bitdefender in background
the default profile works in and out of wc3 which is the targeted game here and this is in windows 7 ive tried compatibility modes as well.

Well, error 5 is "Access is denied" so XMBC is unable to get the information for the current process.
Are you running XMBC in admin mode (by default on Win Vista and 7 XMBC should be run by a service and that should allow admin mode) but if you exit it and reopen it then you will have to run it as administrator.

If you exit XMBC, and then run it again, by right clicking the short cut and saying "Run as administrator" does this problem go away?
