OK at least I now know that the demo is useless to test this with because it does not suffer the same problem.

I don't really want to go out and buy a game I cant play, so unless I have any bright ideas we may have to park this one until I have time to implement multiple profiles.

Thanks,
Phil

OK this looks more and more like an XP specific issue, which is odd because XP does not have any of the security issues that Vista/7 does.

But it could also be related to this game specifically too (as I haven't been able to try the game on any OS because I don't have it).

Zoktar, can you make a note of what applications suffer from this problem on XP, and if possible, turn on debug logging for a bit and provide me with a copy of the log file? I expect it will say something like "Unable to access the process of the window" for the applications where app specific is not working.

I'm busy this weekend so don't expect an immediate response.

Thanks,
Phil

When you get this error, and it says unable to access process ID: x (access is denied), can you have a look in task manager and see what process has process ID 5 (does it show up?)

You might need to turn on the process ID column (in task manager, select processes tab, then View menu, Select columns, tick PID (Process Identifier), OK

Then look for the PID that matches the logfile process ID and tell me what it is.

Thanks for any info.

Hello all,

Please try 1.48. I have added some code that I have tested with World of Warcraft in XP and it works.
It should now work for all applications that previously were undetected.

Thanks,
Phil
