M545 Tilt and Thumb Button Mapping

Post by feuertier »

There are a couple of other posts about the M545, though I'm not sure they really cover what I'm looking for.

The Tilt buttons on the M545 map to Mouse4 and Mouse5. That's evident from SetPoint software (mapping in a game) and XMouse capturing the clicks. The Thumb buttons, which are buttons 6 and 7 in SetPoint, don't seem to be captured by XMouse. If I don't use SetPoint, they map to Start Screen (LeftWindows key) and Show Desktop. If I do use SetPoint, same thing. If I use SetPoint to map as Generic Button, they still perform these functions. However, if I map buttons 6 and 7 to key presses, then the mapping will take. In XMouse, I don't know what to do.

Any advice?
