XMBC Setup Window not active in taskbar

Post by maxoku »

When other window is active and I click on XMBC window or alt+tab to it, it's not being activated in the taskbar, the previous program still is active there. If I'd like to go back to the window of previous program and click on it in the taskbar it's being minimized to the taskbar, so it's annoying. I use WinXP x86. Could you help me with that?

I have something as same as you. But a helpful application is running on my XP x86, most of panels show/hide with the mouse wheel up/down on each taskbar buttons. When I need to let the previous/another program activate, I can do with an wheel operation simply, so there is nothing complicated(^^; Unfortunately that application is a local Japanese software, which has disclosed (finished uodate) and does not support Win10.

You may try following for the Taskbar buttons.

# on Advanced settings
Enable profile switching on mouse move: ON (necessary)

# Find window settings
Caption: (if you will)
Process: explorer.exe
Class: ToolbarWindow32
Parent Class: MSTaskSwWClass
Match Type: Window and Parent Window
Window Regions: (all)

# Button Action settings
Left Button: ** (as you will)
Righit Button: **
Middle Button: SimKeys "{LMB}{WAITMS:100}{RMB}{WAITMS:100}{ALT}{F4}"
BUtton 4: **
BUtton 5: **
Wheel Up: SimKeys "{LMB}"
Wheel Down: SimKeys "{LMB}"

# Options tab (if your mice has a 'free spinning wheel')
Ignore repeated remapped vertical scroll: ON
for "200" ms.

These settings work on the taskbar buttons. Changing the target window states Activated/Hidden with the mouse wheel Up(Down) in one or two ticks, and closing the window by a middle click. An wheel operation may be felt less stresssome than one left-clicking.
If your PC has speediness enough, {waitms} sizes will be small or none. "100" or more are the size on my XP for the HEAVY programs runnig.

That doesn't help me much. I can always click on the taskbar to activate it, easier than playing with the wheel. But thanks anyway.
