Mouse Wheel Pointer Speed

Post by js0873 »

I'm finding that with XBMC V2.15 it will keep resetting my mouse pointer speed to the slowest setting after a reboot. That doesn't happen with V2.14 and it appears that problem was introduced in V2.15. Is anyone else having this problem? (W7 Pro)

I work with all betas since half year and didn't notice that kind of problem recently or previous - unless you have some dpi settings stored in mouse (mouse memory) or you use mouse software with that kind of settings (profiles etc..).

I got mouse speed set in the middle (in XMBC) and never using dpi button on mouse which have 4 different settings.

It is my first thought.
It is soft recomend to not use any other "mouse related" software with XMBC ("soft" not "strong", because there are many possibilities that it will work and many that it won't work)
Let the PC do the hard work = AHK + C# + HTML/CSS/JS + XMBC + Clavier+ + AutoLisp + VBA/OOB

What is the speed slider in XMBC set to?
And is it different on a per-profile basis?

I've noticed on a fresh install there may be a problem (the slider defaults to 0 (slowest)). But once you have set it, it should be fine from then on.

Thanks,
Phil
