Zelotes T-90
I recently bought the Zelotes T-90 mouse from amazon, and you can see the specs here:
Amazon - Zelotes-T90-Professional-Precision-Buttons/dp/B0153CD7AY/ref=lp_10411519011_1_11?srs=10411519011&ie=UTF8&qid=1445003442&sr=8-11
It is a fantastic budget mouse, and very comfortable. But I want to be able to customize all the buttons to my likings.
The issue I am getting is that the "fire button" is just a mouse macro to double click, and the switch light color isn't displaying either in XMBC. Is it not possible to intercept the signal being pressed before it is interpreted as actions? Not sure if this is possible, or if I am kinda screwed with this mouse. I was also thinking perhaps interprating that double click somehow (timed to the ms delay of input) as a command for the fire button. Setting that to zoom controls, etc would be awesome.

Re: Zelotes T-90
I doubt it will be possible but I just ordered one of the mice so I can have a play and see what can be done.
Thanks,
Phil
Thanks,
Phil

Wow, you go the extra mile. I might not be expecting miracles, but thanks.
I will eagerly look forward to what you can make of it.

Well, I waited to get my laptop RMA back, but by now I am assuming this was a no-go?
Re: Zelotes T-90
Sorry, I haven't even had a chance to look at XMBC since I released 2.12 - far too busy at work so I've got no time when I get home. I have got the mouse but I haven't plugged it into anything yet! I *might*get a chance this weekend!

What were your findings with the XMBC Phil, did you ever get around to testing it?phil wrote:Sorry, I haven't even had a chance to look at XMBC since I released 2.12 - far too busy at work so I've got no time when I get home. Sorry, haven't had a chance to look yet - I got the mouse but haven't even plugged it in yet - unfortunately I really have had no time and its becoming more of a problem.

Re: Zelotes T-90
Hi Phil, any progress with this? This would almost be the perfect mouse if it was possible to program the DPI and Fire buttons. Managed to program the two side buttons as Volume Up and Down using your terrific software, which is great.
The frustrating thing is, I had the wired version of this mouse and it came with software that allowed you to program all of the buttons but can I find that disk? Can I heck.

Re: Zelotes T-90
Just did a Google search for "Zelotes T-90" and realised that it IS the wired version!
I just bought the wireless version on ebay for £11 - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/360727964762
It's the Zelotes F-14 apparently. Doesn't come with software though, I was gutted to find. Would really love to be able to program those last two buttons if it's at all possible.

Re: Zelotes T-90
OK Finally some progress, but unfortunately, its bad news.
The fire button is hard wired to send a double left click when the button is released (it does nothing until it is released). The light button sends nothing to windows at all (from what I can see - certainly nothing that gets as far as the windows mouse hooks).
So the mouse's extra buttons are pretty much useless when it comes to XMBC
Sorry about that.
Phil

Re: Zelotes T-90
Hi Phil, thanks for taking a look.
On the wired version of this mouse I used to have a disk that allowed me to customise the fire button and the DPI button to other functions.
The wireless version of the mouse that I currently have (I linked to it on eBay in my last post) didn't come with a disk unfortunately but I just tested the fire button and it send the double click before it is released.
Not sure what you are referring to when you say the "light button", do you mean the DPI button in the middle, just under the scroller?

Re: Zelotes T-90
No, not the DPI button, the wired one I bought (that has no disc) has 3 buttons on the side, button 4, 5 and anther that changes the led light colour emitted by the device or turns it off.

Re: Zelotes T-90
It is possible to program the two side buttons using software, but that's it. I've tried my best, but it is NOT possible to program the DPI and Fire buttons. The fire button can only to send a double left click, but only when the button is released.
