Minimize Window not working as expected

Post by God of Dice »

First of all I have to thank you for a great utility I wouldn't like to miss anymore.

I have used BrowseMouse before, but it doesn't work well with Vista x64.
I have configured button nr.5 to minimize a window. With BM, the window under the cursor got minimized and not the active window.
It doesn't make sense to minimize the active window when I move my mouse extra to another one. Could you change it or include a new Minimize Window under cursor option? I would use the key sequence but I cannot do a left click and then call \"Minimize Window\".
The better way would be to check the hwnd of the object you are on and go to the parent until it is a window class. In this case you could also minimize mdi childs which is not working yet and was also a big help in BM.

Thx for you help.

Btw: The Minimize Window also does strange things when you click on the desktop. My whole screen gets black for a second and shows me \"Program Manager\" on the top left side.

Minimize and double click

Post by God of Dice »

Thx. I found out that on Vista, the Minimize Window function doesn't really minimize Visual Basic 6 and other programs correctly. It makes it only a small bar and puts it over the start button.
And I have some apps where the double click isn't working. e.g. in the systray with PStart. The first click opens the menu. a double click opens a real window. With XMouse, the window opens but the menu is still there.
