Touchpad request: Disable tapping

Post by raindrop »

Hi phil
thanks for a great program, and your support for 64 bit software
It could be great to have \"disable tapping\" function for touchpad (notebook mouse)

especially for 64 bit notebooks that not always come with synaptics hardware

I didn't see any program that have this option

but on the other hand, I never saw an alternative program for intelipoint :-)

Cheers

I think I have already replied to email to PM but I will reply here too just in case other people are looking for an answer to this...

Because XMouse is not a driver, I am unable to determine what device (or component) the mouse clicks come from. therefore I do not know if the click was generated by tapping a touchpad or pressing a button (either on the touchpad device or a different mouse that may be attached).

Therefore it is impossible to do this in XMouse.

Sorry but thanks for asking,
Phil
