X-Mouse 1.35 Broken

Post by Nighted »

Hi,

Just tried upgrading to v. 1.35 and notice that using simulated keystrokes {CTRL}{ALT}Z on my right X button no longer works. Keyboard works, the command is highlighted in the X-Mouse options dialog, but doesn't seem to be outputting the command.

It's a bit baffling as other commands work (haven't encountered any others that won't)

Back to 1.34 for now.

Again, thanks for the awesome program!

OK, that's a little odd but that is the area that was changed in 1.35 so I guess I broke something...

Your not loosing a lot by sticking with 1.34 but I will see what I can do to fix this.

Thanks,
Phil

I think I know whats happened... I bet, if you type {CTRL}{ALT}z (lower-case Z) in the simulated keystrokes it would have worked in 1.35

I think, because you have an upper-case Z, its actually doing {CTRL}{ALT}{SHIFT}z :)

Anyway I am fixing that by ignoring the case of alpha characters, so my fix will still work for {CTRL}+ (before it would have sent {CTRL}= now it sends {CTRL}{shift}= which is the low level command for {CTRL}+ :)

So, essentially, I hope 1.36 will fix it.. and that may be out today sometime.
