Logitech MX1000

Post by BoseRoHS »

Hi Phil,

Is there any support for the Logitech MX1000 Laser mouse? Currently the only buttons that seem to work are the standard mouse buttons; LMB, RMB, Wheel Up/Down. There are 5 additional buttons that do not seem to respond / configure within XMBC.

There is no special support for any mouse. XMBC works with the standard windows messages, which support 5 buttons, scroll and tilt (on vista and later).

Logitech mice often can have multiple profiles (my logitech G9 can) and those profiles can interact with SetPoint and not send standard messages. In my case I had to use SetPoint to change the buttons to send default windows messages and then XMBC worked fine with it, even after I uninstalled SetPoint .

I dont know if the lazer mouse has the same issues but I guess it might have.

Thanks,
Phil
