auto-copying
Today someone mentioned this utility in a discussion at lifehacker dot com.
basically, they said this utility has the ability to ro unix-style text copying, where all you have to do is highlight some text and that text automatically gets copied to the clipboard.
I have downloaded XMouse and cannot figure out how to get this functionality working?
If XMouse cannot currently do this, I would like to make it a feature request -- there is an extremely high demand for this functionality done right.

I think you have got my software confused with someone else's.
My software \"X-Mouse Button Control\" is not \"True X-Mouse Gizmo\" but I can see how the names could be confused..
It looks like your after the \"download\" link of this page
http://fy.chalmers.se/~appro/nt/TXMouse/
Then again, some of those ideas look kind'a neat and could be integrated into XMBC in the future!
Thanks,
Phil

Re:
Actually the reason I came here is because the gizmo is unreliable (always "turns its back" on me), and doesnt give you the option to disable the x middle mouse button and autofocus windows. All I am really looking for is simple copy-text-on-highlight.phil wrote:I think you have got my software confused with someone else's.

If you can make that happen, that would rock! lifehackers would be all over it.
I'll see what I can do for the next release, but I'm rather busy right now with other things, so I cant promise anything quickly.
Thanks,
Phil

I'm with ronaldjeremy. I'm also looking for such an application that can automagically copy selected text, however which doesn't brake the ability to use middle-button under e.g. Firefox simultaneously.
(I use autocopy addon for Firefox which works great there; wondering if it is possible to use X-Mouse Button Control under any other Windows application same way).
Looking forward to hearing news from you, phil

Re:
Nope, after a day of testing this topic comes back.
Gizmo/DrakKing would be great if they could:
- copy selected text to a \"second clipboard\" (which could be e.g. some string stored in the memory; it is important not to interrupt the windows clipboard, I believe);
- paste copied this way content in middle-button-click (however, you could specify under which application it works/doesn't work - e.g. I love the idea of opening new/closing existing tabs under Firefox),
What do you think?
Is it possible to add such a functionality to XMouse Button Control?
