Most wanted?

Post by phil »

Hi,

I have had many suggestions, either by email or through this forum, but what I want to know, is where should I spend any effort I have left, to improve XMouse ??? :)

To be fair, this is a \"side project\". I like to think of XMouse as a great utility that I use, to improve my computer experience, but; really, this only ever came from the lack of support from companies that make mice.

XMouse has grown and is widely appreciated (which give a warm 'fuzzy' feeling) but I'm currently struggling because I really WANT to support more than the 5 buttons... and to do this, I think, I need a mouse filter driver. Now that's something I'm willing to investigate, but filter drivers are something that I am unfamiliar with....

If anyone can help with drivers, then any information would be appreciated.

In the mean time, I want to add some nice things to XMouse, to bring in the users (and the donations :)) but please add your wish list here and I will at least read it, and in the long run, attempt to integrate any good idea into the software.

Please understand that XMouse is a \"spare time\" project that I undertake outside of working hours - so its not uncommon that things take longer that you and I would like.

Thanks,
Phil
