Problems in Visual Studio

Post by icokk »

I have programmed my middle mouse button to simulate double click. But it doesn't work in VS2005 file dialog. Do you know a possible reason?

I've no idea.
But I will have a look - because I have VS2005 installed.

What OS are you running?

Thanks,
Phil

Well, it seems to work fine for me on Windows XP 64bit using VS2005 (SP1).
But can you clarify exactly which \"file\" dialog your talking about as there are several in VS2005.

Thanks,
Phil

For instance, File/Open File has this problem (I think all file dialogs do).
I'm using Windows XP SP2, not Win64 - could that make a difference?

Ok, I've just tried this on my desktop at work, which is XP SP2 and VS 2005 SP1.

It works fine here too !!

What version of XMBC are you running?

I've tried it with 1.27 and 1.28, it works the same.

Ok, well its very odd... I don't understand why it would work for me and not you, on the same OS and service pack level...

I'll have another test tomorrow, but it seems from today's experiments that this one is not going to be easy to track down :(
