2 buttons endlessly.

Post by paperman »

Hello,

I would like to make a macro two letters(o and l) endlessly.

One click = o
Second click = l
Third click = o
Fourth click = l
Five click = o
....l
...o
...l
....

Bind on mouse wheel scroll high/Simulated keys

But when i use the macro, sometimes a click uses o and l at the same time, why?

Thank and sorry for my english.

Bonjour,

Bye.

Hi, the scroll wheel is not like a button, the does not ave a down and up (pressed and released) action so its more difficult to convert to simulated keys. Also, the wheel can spin quite fast, maybe this is why sometimes you get multiple keys sent. On the options tab, you can turn on "ignore repeated vertical scroll" to try and combat this problem.

But how have you setup the sim keys - I guess you are using layers and alternating between them (because I cant think how else to do it?!)

Thanks,
Phil

Hello,

The scroll wheel on my mouse is good for this because she have serrulate(clac clac clac clac....)
Thanks for your answer, i have test with other button and same problem.

I have test many setups :

ol
o,l
o, l
olololol...
{Press]o{release}l
With {wait...

But no works because when i use the scroll whell on google or Word software...
First clic = ol. Second same...

I can not separate letters for one clic o and one clic l.
There's a command for that?

Thanks.

Salut,

Merci :)

To make one click o and one click l I would do this...

Setup layer 1 to send simulated keystroke (on press) o{layer2}
Setup layer 2 to send simulated keystroke (on press) l{layer1}

That way when on layer 1, it will send the 'o' then move to layer 2.
Then the next click (layer 2) will send the 'l' and move to layer 1. You can also set a time on layer 2 to switch back to layer 1 after a few seconds, so if you don't press again, it will reset the sequence (if need be).

See attached profile example (setup for notepad.exe)
Test (Notepad).xmbcs
Thanks,
Phil
