Tested, and working - and it does not stop you using resourcer either - just an easier way for the general user to customize icons and does not require patching the exe (which I don't like for various other reasons).

Loading icons from a file will not make any difference to the performance - it will be done once. And it wont increase memory usage because the icons are already loaded from the resources, so it makes no diff if they are loaded from somewhere else. So thats not a worry. I think Im going to have to support the ability of loading an icon pack of some sort - maybe as simple as loading icons form files in the app folder if they exist. That way anyone can use whatever icons they like.
