Settings - Other hotkeys
I am using a hotkey to enable/disable xmouse Shift+l, while xmouse is running this disables the ability to use the capital L mark.

Re: Windows System Beep (audio) / IO latency
A little more progress on Killy's thread - the high CPU usage was not being caused by XMBC, but was causing problems in XMBC. Can you see if your Internet Connection Service is stalling? Maybe use process monitor/explorer to see if any other process/service is taking a significant amount of CPU (li...

Re: Windows System Beep (audio) / IO latency
I created a random test profile and the issue still occurs quite aggressively in 2.17. The issue with 2.17 is that Windows will set off the system beep while just moving from application to application or clicking on the desktop... when XMBC is only setup to function within specific applications, an...

Re: Windows System Beep (audio) / IO latency
The issue never occurred in previous versions, even under heavy load. With this version (2.17) the issue occurs at anytime not just under heavy load. I have nothing mapped to XMBC, until an application calls for it, but I've haven't had the need to use any application mapped to XMBC for several mont...

Windows System Beep (audio) / IO latency
I updated xmouse to the latest version (2.17) portable and noticed something very odd. The unfortunate thing is that this is going to be tricky to explain without any recording. In short you may want to take a closer look at the newer version, it's causing IO issues (buffer overflow) and causing Win...

Modifier (simiulator key)
Wondering how a modifier can be set to enable the "simulator key" press.. currently I have {LMB} set to repeat until pressed again, but it'd be nice to have a modifier to enable it initially. Reason for this is that each time {LMB} is press it activates, a modifier would be nice to control...

Logitech MX1000
Hi Phil,
Is there any support for the Logitech MX1000 Laser mouse? Currently the only buttons that seem to work are the standard mouse buttons; LMB, RMB, Wheel Up/Down. There are 5 additional buttons that do not seem to respond / configure within XMBC.

Re: FREEZE
I'm unable to reproduce the hanging, after having changed the HID service to automatic. Tried disabling the HID service and rebooted so I can run a debug, but it's not reproducing the issues I was having. It did hang for a second or two, but not as it had prior. I guess everything is ok now. If anyo...

Re: FREEZE
Sorry. Haven't had time to download and run it. Though I just came across "Human Interface Device Access" service set as Manual, while trying to fix my Sidewinder X4 mute/volume buttons from not starting when Windows starts, and having to reset the USB every time I restart finally became t...

Re: FREEZE
Unfortunately, no. The only application I seem to be having an issue with is Xmouse, that is, if I were to to load the Xmouse GUI with method 2 or 3. Disabled NOD32 and Outpost Firewall (which has Proactive Protection, Anti-Leak, and System/Application Guard), but freezing/hangs still occur. I tried...

Re: FREEZE
Yeah, 10 seconds, but in total 30 seconds when I time it with a stop watch. Not sure where the extra 10+ seconds are coming from. No hurry, it works for me, but always nice to get the bugs ironed out. I misspoke, it does freeze/hang as often as exiting. The only difference is... 1st Method: (Preferr...

Re: Multiple Keystrokes (Macro) -- "Simulated Keystrokes"
I see a lot of potential with XMOUSE, perhaps (imo) the best software available for mouse customization. This is what my Sidewinder X4 looks like. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><Macro RepeatingMode="1"> <DelayEvent>5</DelayEvent> <KeyBoardEvent Down="true&q...

Multiple Keystrokes (Macro) -- "Simulated Keystrokes"
I'm attempting to create a macro, but doesn't seem to be functioning. Doesn't work in XMOUSE {F4}{WAITMS100}1{WAITMS100}3 I can setup the G500 logitech software to run this macro, works fine, but I prefer to use XMOUSE as I can set application specific. G500 software looks like this. Down-F4 delay-1...
