Hello Phil,
When I rebooted my machine this morning, the notice came up that there was a new beta and I clicked to install. It worked! I now have beta 6. I am in GMT -5 (or Eastern Standard Time).

Re: XMBC 2.10 Beta
Phil, I have beta 4 installed and it noticed that there was an auto update available. It attempted to download but received "An error occurred while attempting to download the update package. Please visit the website to download the latest version or try again later" error. It is still at ...

Re: XMBC 2.10 Beta
Phil,
I had beta 2 installed and tried to do an autoupdate but it told me that it installed Beta 2 which I already had. I then downloaded and installed Beta 3 by hand. I'm certain it was still beta 2 as there were 8 layers after the autoupdate try and now there are 10.

Re: Chrome 39 (64-bit) & XMBC v2.9.2
Hello Phil, I installed the beta and it works like a charm! A hearty thank you. I'm making a donation after I hit save on this message. It's something I should have done long ago. There are now drivers for my Contour Mouse under Windows 7/8 but they are problematic. They also do not even have an opt...

Re: Chrome 39 (64-bit) & XMBC v2.9.2
Hello Phil, Hey, you're many hours ahead of me. I appreciate your help when every you get to it. I'm also trying things on my own to help narrow it down. I tried uninstalling XMBC and then the scroll by page is working fine in Chrome. Of course I cannot use my middle mouse button or Button number 5 ...

Re: Chrome 39 (64-bit) & XMBC v2.9.2
Hello Phil, Just before I saw your last message it all of sudden started working. I was scrolling in Chrome one page at a time! Then I tried turning this off in XMBC and I was back to one line at time even though these settings in Windows are set to one page at a time. When I turned it back on in XM...

Re: Chrome 39 (64-bit) & XMBC v2.9.2
Phil, More info. Perhaps I am having a broader issue, not limited to Chrome. I notice that XMBC no longer seems to work with another application for scrolling by page, Directory Opus. DOpus does respond to the native Windows 8.1 Mouse driver for scroll by page but seems to ignore if I only have it s...

Re: Chrome 39 (64-bit) & XMBC v2.9.2
Thanks Phil,
FYI, I also just tried beta 2.10 beta 1 and it has the same issue.
Thanks for your quick reply and providing such a great utility that has extended the life of two of my favorite mice which no longer have suitable drivers.

Re: Chrome 39 (64-bit) & XMBC v2.9.2
FYI: I'm also have a different problem with Chrome 39 (64-bit) & XMBC v2.9.2 under Windows 8.1 64 bit. I am trying to scroll one page at a time but it scrolls two pages instead. This just cropped up, apparently with Chrome 39. Had same issue with XMBC 2.9.1. Of course scrolling with Chrome has a...
