Re: Problem with layer 2 modifier key among other.
Thanks, Phil. I'm attaching my profile the way it is now. SHIFT still activates layer 2, but I removed the setting for pressing CTRL + SHIFT + Ñ when clicking the middle button in Layer 2. There's only one action configured this layer (which works well). I'll also try to use the 2.18 version as you...

Re: Problem with layer 2 modifier key among other.
I'll try to simplify things a bit, and also provide a little update. To sum sup, I'm experiencing a number of issues with XMBC. 1. Using SHIFT as a key modifier to activate layer 2 in combination with a mouse button (middle) to press a key combo causes layer two to remain active until shift is press...

Assign actions to button on double click/long click
Is it possible to assign actions to buttons on double click or long click? If not, would that be a "requestable" feature? It would be fantastic to have that option.

Re: Make a profile default
Yeah, I think I updated it recently. I didn't lose anything, I had my profiles backed up as you suggested, but I just found it strange that the update wiped it all out. Regarding the default and application profile, I completely forgot that that's what I usually do, I already had a profile backed up...

Make a profile default
Is there an easy way to have a profile (say a profile I've just imported) set as default? I've been looking around but can't seem to find an easy way to do this. The default profile cannot be deleted and you can't create a new profile without specifying a window. Also, I just came to an updated XMBC...

Re: 'Override mouse speed' setting ignored often. Always after reboot.
Thank you, Phil. And sorry for the buzz on such a silly problem. At least an improvement of the app came out of the fact that I missed the general setting. Slightly more robust now

Re: 'Override mouse speed' setting ignored often. Always after reboot.
I must admit I never saw the mouse speed selector in general settings. Of course I didn't know it was set to max either. Sorry, Phil, you must be right. That's got to be it. The reason I use override in all profiles is because I used to have it turned off everywhere and set the mouse speed in Window...

Re: 'Override mouse speed' setting ignored often. Always after reboot.
Yes, I'm using ctrl to activate layer 2. Should I disable it and try?Are you using *ANY* modifier keys?
I've sent you the profile via PM and installed the 2.17 Beta 3. Logging enabled as well.
I'll send you the file later today.

Re: 'Override mouse speed' setting ignored often. Always after reboot.
Phil, this is now happening in my home PC as well, which has always been fine. It's actually worse than in my PC at work. I always have the 'Override mouse speed' option checked in XMBC and it has always worked just fine. Now, all of the sudden, the mouse speed is set to max (Windows ignores the XMB...

Re: 'Override mouse speed' setting ignored often. Always after reboot.
Sorry for taking this long to reply, Phil. I didn't have the "notify me of new replies" option checked. I'm using version 2.16. I'll try your suggestion Tomorrow(it happens in the PC at work only and I'm free today, home PC is fine) and let you know. In my case, the mouse speed is reset to...

'Override mouse speed' setting ignored often. Always after reboot.
Every time I reboot the PC, and sometimes randomly while the PC is on, my mouse speed is suddenly reset to max. I'm not sure if this is an XMBC problem exclusively though, it happens when I have the 'override mouse speed' checked, but it'll also happen with it unchecked, i.e. Windows itself will for...

Re: Error: "A referal was returned from the server" when launching XMouse + other stuff
That's a good idea. If it helps, I confirmed that this problem originates locally. There's definitely something preventing digital signatures to be verified in this PC. I just tried installing a different software and the same error pops up. The first certificate in the chain can't ve verified. Unfo...

Re: Error: "A referal was returned from the server" when launching XMouse + other stuff
I'm an idiot. I forgot to uncheck "run this program as administrator" in the property window. I had checked that in order to be able to launch Xmouse when certificate wasn't being verified. It's all good now!
Thank you very much for your assistance, Phil!
