Re: Issues with windows 7 64-bit
Leaving logging enable will slow the program down somewhat and it may not be a good idea. There is a global hotkey to enable/disable debug too. Having the swap 4th and 5th set always explains the log entry (I guess I need to remove the RDP text because that's just a little confusing). It might be wo...

Re: XMouse + Win7 64 + AutoCad = crash
Thanks for the update, I'm glad to hear that its not just XMBC. It sounds like some sort of timing issue - maybe some software is introducing a delay that effects autocad - but that wont be easy to diagnose :( Good luck in your attempts to further diagnose/fix this (unfortunately I think you might n...

Re: X-Mouse Windows 7
The application should run automatically and there should be a small mouse icon in the system tray. Don't forget that Windows Vista and 7 hide unused icons so you might have to click the little up arrow to see all the icons.
Thanks,
Phil

Re: Issues with windows 7 64-bit
Sorry, nothing obvious in the log, but there are a couple of things... Have you got swap 4th and 5th buttons set at all. Are you connected over remote desktop at all (the log seems to suggest so but maybe its a bad log message) If you turn on global hotkeys, and set the enable/disable hot key then w...

Re: X-Mouse in Flight Simulator (Logitech Perf MX)
OK I'm a little unclear as to what you mean when you say OK, I've re-installed XMDC, but not sure which of the drop downs to select. It should be the same as your old mouse. Middle button should be for the wheel button. What are you trying to do? As to set point, you can probably have that installed...

Re: X-Mouse in Flight Simulator (Logitech Perf MX)
Usually the mouse wheel button in button 3 (middle mouse button) as seen by windows. Although I would be surprised, I guess its possible that button 3 is assigned to a different button on this 9 button mouse. Do any of the mouse buttons cause the middle mouse button dropdown in XMBC settings to high...

Re: XMouse + Win7 64 + AutoCad = crash
OK two simple q's.... If you use XMBC with the MS mouse, does it crash? If you use the Evoluent mouse without XMBC running does it crash? I wouldn't have thought the mouse hardware would make any difference but I want to rule that out! I've never used an Evoluent mouse but I struggle to see how it m...

Re: XMouse + Win7 64 + AutoCad = crash
Hi, Firstly this is a new one - I've been using XMBC for ages on Win7 x64 (but I don't have Autocad). I'm not quite sure what you mean by "uninstall and unplug XMouse"? Do you mean your using a different mouse or that you just unloaded XMBC? If you leave XMBC running and just disable it, d...

Re: HELP!! PLEASE!!
As well as the solution provided by 111111, during installation there is also an option to delete the existing settings, which would reset them all. But I would say that if your right button is working, then the suggestion of disabling XMBC via the context menu is probably the best. In this situatio...

Re: Suggestion (Right + Left click simultaneously)
I'm guessing AutoIT, at the basic level, also uses hooks... Its just they probably send off messages to separate threads to process the hook data thus leaving the hook thread to continue. While I have dabbled with multi-threading in XMBC (for some of the simulated keystrokes) its not quite there yet...

Re: Suggestion (Right + Left click simultaneously)
In a way thats my point... Its all well and good giving me an autoit script but the design of that is completely different to XMBC. You may as well just use autoit if that's what you want (its always going to offer better scripting for the advanced user). XMBC is right now quite a simplistic applica...

Re: Suggestion (Right + Left click simultaneously)
The problem is with all these gestures and combinations is that in user mode, its difficult to rely on timings... How do you know if your pressing two buttons when you get independent messages from Windows... The only way to do it would be to queue up the messages and wait for a short time (which wi...

Re: Layer modifyer problem in 1.5
lol, OK thanks, I'm glad that I was right about that - now I just need to fix that bug because your configuration should have worked. I will try and make sure the next version is a little more forgiving .
Thanks,
Phil

Re: Thankyou Phil (And a suggestion)
Thanks for your opinion - firstly, http://highrez.co.uk (EDIT: Thanks forum software for auto-linking it when I'm saying it does not work!) is not a valid web address. That is why it does not work. I have a multitude of things and several web sites hanging off my domain using host headers and I don'...

Re: Thankyou Phil (And a suggestion)
lol, well it's 11 years since my degree... and I'm still doing that !!! Anyway, I'm also on Win7 x64, with a logitech mouse, without setpoint (never ever installed it) and I don't have a problem with the tilt... I wonder, if you installed setpoint and then removed it maybe it left something thats no...
