Re: Mouse Movement to Scroll eats the Click!

I had also thought about that. IMO the best would be to have an option to block original mouse input like in Sim Keys. Maybe combine all 8 'Change movement to scroll' options in one and make it open a separate window with drop-down list of these 8 options and a checkbox for the block original mouse ...

Re: Reassigned my left mouse button - can't undo

Here is a simple solution. Right-click the system tray icon (as I see in your post your RMB is OK, otherwise you can navigate to the icon with the TAB key and the Arrow keys and then use the Menu/Application key on your kbd to show the context menu) and in the context menu use the Arrow keys to sele...

Re: Implement Mouse Chording

It's good to have you back mate :) Button chording is the most significant feature in v2.14 but unfortunately I can't use it on my old XP PC :(. Could you please look at this thread and see if you could think of some crazy idea that I could try and get some clue about what's going on. Thank you! Iliya

Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta

a) What update problem? I saw the notification, clicked it and updated to beta 15!

b) Look it on the bright side - at least now you have it on your own machine :)

Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta

Well that's great news :)

You might wanna let it sleep overnight though, for the codes to settle down and when you release it tomorrow you'll see that everything will be just perfect :P

Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta

Well I've been through every beta and never had such problem on win 8.1! Always all buttons and lines has been there. I hope that could give you a clue.

And that apostrophe thing BriHecato reported, I tried with both English and Bulgarian input and both are working fine - no accent.

Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta

To everyone else... I'm getting to the point where I'm spending a disproportional amount of time on the GUI compared to actual functionality (this is a problem with the complexity of c++). I want to close out 2.14 but I will try and get the tabs right. I'm not moving/changing the scrolling and navi...

Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta

Wohoooow, Awesome :D It's just that the tabs are too small :( (maybe they should be somewhere about twice that width). But if you can't center the number when they are wider then better do it your way ('Layer 1' fixed and the others - fixed width with centered numbers). Unfortunately that 'Scrolling...

Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta

I think XMBC is perfect as it is now :!: Above all it has to be reliable, fast and sharp (at least that would be my primary objective if I were you). Sure the GUI work is exhausting and time consuming but I've been thought that all good things are hard to achieve (and they always pay back). And the ...

Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta

If you have 10 layers there isn't room to fit on one line and the default behavior of the tab control is to go multi-line if there is no space. May I suggest to put 'Layer:' in front of the layer line and remove the word 'Layer' from the tabs and leave just the numbers like this: Layer: [ 1(Default...

Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta

Firstly, Thank you for implementing those things (ordering the list and adding button to directly open the button setting) they are great, I was thinking to suggest them myself :) About the grey - could be little darker. About the gui: 2.14 beta 12.jpg The option below 'Tilt wheel right' is not visi...

Re: Can't start XMBC on WinXP 32bit

OK so I opened the DebugViewer and downloaded the installer of 2.14 beta 12 and run it. The installation completed and the default browser started to open the home page. Those 3 lines showed up in DebugViewer at XMBC's first startup. 00000001 0.00000000 [3972] ExecShellAsUser: DLL_PROCESS_ATTACH 000...

Re: Can't start XMBC on WinXP 32bit

Thanks a lot Phil! Now from what you are saying I have to assume that the old versions have gotten something from elsewhere and that is how they worked. As 'Dependency Walker' shows that v2.13.10 is missing MSVCR90, could it be possible that is falls back to MSVCR71 (which is present in my system32 ...
