Re: Horizontal scrolling
Even without XMBC running? (that is a key question!) Sometimes the Logitech mice need reconfiguring with the Logitech software as the tilt wheel can be blocked/reconfigured at a lower level. And also, sometimes, the Logitech software interferes, I have a G604 mouse that uses G-Hub software. That sof...

Re: XMBC 2.21 Beta
Here is 2.21 Beta 28. Changes since 2.21 Beta 27 (above): #849 - Added global hotkey to abort simulated keystrokes immediately. As usual, feedback welcome - especially if you find a bug! Any issues/problems, Enable debug logging, make a note of the time the problem occurs and then PM me a copy of th...

Re: Auto Hide Cursor when a key is pressed
I had a quick look, but I cant figure out how that utility works, so replicating its behaviour in XMBC will not be as simple as I thought). I suspect it may be making the cursor transparent, but there seems to be three methods, but no detail as to how they work (and as its not open source, I cant ha...

Re: Google Street View mouse wheels...
Firstly, you have to figure out how to recognise goole street view from other windows, so you can setup a profile for that. As its a webpage, its more tricky - particually as there is no way to identify streetview mode from the window (browser) caption. You may have to have a profile for your browse...

Re: Defining Window Regions in Chrome (and other programs)
So, I have XMBC setup and working the way I want it to (emulating the mouse in Linux). Meaning it copies highlighted text to the clipboard and pastes it with the middle click. This part works great. Now for the funky part: In Chrome (I haven't tried this in Edge yet), when I right click on the tab ...

Re: Horizontal scrolling
The default action for horizontal wheel left/right is to scroll left/right - is that not working (when left as default, "No Change (Don't Intercept)")?
I don't understand why you would want to make it do what it does by default (without XMBC)?!

Re: How to keep the automated keys working when the game's window is in background?
It is not possible. XMBC uses the Microsoft API's to send keyboard input into the keyboard buffer. The keys in the keyboard buffer get sent to the window in the foreground. There is no way to redirect that to windows in the background. Just when you press keys on your keyboard, they go to the active...

Re: Auto Hide Cursor when a key is pressed
No there is no such option. So you would like to simply hide the cursor? I will add this to the list, and take a look and see what can be done. No promises on time scales though. I don't know why XMBC might conflict with autohidemousecursor, I guess it uses mouse/keyboard hooks just like XMBC but su...

Re: Stop while running?
You should be able to disable XMBC (e.g. using the scroll lock key or setup a hotkey to disable/enable XMBC), that should interrupt simulated keys (although I'm not 100% sure it will, and there may be a small chance a key may get "stuck" down) I would have to test that and make sure it beh...

Re: Can XMBC cycle through a group of keys by pressing the same button, sending only 1 each press?
I guess you figured it out already, but just for others who may be looking, yes you can use layers to do this. Setup the number of layers you want to cycle (max 10). Then for the button on each layer, select simulated keystrokes, enter the key followed by {layer:next} or {layer:<x>} where x is the n...

Re: Possible to get fewer lines with scroll wheel?
In what application - if I set it to 1 here it works for me... You may need to check the "Force scroll pages/lines" checkbox to force other applications to reload the scroll settings. Also, does it work if you try it from the Windows mouse control panel (this is what XMBC is changing behin...

Here is 2.21 Beta 27. Changes since 2.21 Beta 26 (above): #848 - Fixed issue with the Action Tags -> Activate Process action where the wrong tag was added to the simkey text box. #847 - Modified XMBC to update its internal initial key repeat rate/key repeat speed when changing the settings in Window...
