Re: XMBC 2.17 Beta
Hi Phil, The "Button Held Time Dependent Actions" text in the button drop-down pretty much eats up the space and leaves little room for the description. Considering it may have up to 4 different actions assigned maybe it could be shorter (e.g. "Button Held" only) in order to acco...

SimKeys window improvements
Hi Phil, I have a suggestion about the SimKeys window improvement (when its time comes :)). For example, look at the chording window: Untitled.jpg When it appears, the layer tab is visible and the button name is written in the title bar so you see you are editing the right button in the right layer....

Re: How do I toggle between two layers (with 3+ layers)?
Well I'm not sure I understand how you did it with chording but there is no need to change layers. For example I've set "fast scrolling" like that: RMB+Wheel Up = {MWUP}{MWUP}{MWUP}{MWUP}{MWUP}{MWUP}{MWUP}{MWUP}{MWUP}{MWUP} RMB+Wheel Down = {MWDN}{MWDN}{MWDN}{MWDN}{MWDN}{MWDN}{MWDN}{MWDN}{...

Re: How do I toggle between two layers (with 3+ layers)?
Why don't you use Button chording for that?
Actually I have to admit you've achieved that quite elegantly with the {layer:x} command , but it seems to me it would be simpler with Button chording.

Re: SimKeys: "{SHIFT}{ALT}" works but "{ALT}{SHIFT}" does not
I havn't had a chance to even look at this one yet - so it is still a question of when, even if just to answer the how :) I see, thanks for the clarification Phil, I thought you are more familiar with that but now I understand :) Well I did some searching and it seems that the scan codes are not la...

Re: SimKeys: "{SHIFT}{ALT}" works but "{ALT}{SHIFT}" does not
The main problem is when/how the ALT is released because sending character codes in this way happens when ALT is released - and no other key is pressed, but AFAIK, its not possible to send an ALT press/release through the sendapi API because the ALT, CTRL etc is sent as a flag applied to other keys...

Re: Feature Request: Copying Buttons
I like that suggestion and if something like that is possible at all, maybe the simplest way is by adding a "Skip buttons" option in the "Copy Layer" window so the user can tick the buttons which are not to be copied.

Re: SimKeys problem
^Reminder^ Phil, I didn't get your opinion about the issue with the {layer:x} tag at the end of the string in Sim Keys. Did you get a chance to test and see if it behaves the same on your end or it's only me? I haven't see anyone else mentioning this but if it's a bug you might want to look at it be...

Re: "Movement to scroll" improvements
Basically it takes the X,Y pixels difference between the point MTS is activated (clicked) and the current position (bear in mind the cursor does not actually move so the numbers are small each time). It then multiplies these numbers by an "acceleration factor" (which clearly isn't suffici...

Re: ctrl+left key and right continuous help
Hi gaia,
Have you tried to set the Auto repeat delay to "0" or increasing it to 20, 30, 50... to see what happens?

Re: SimKeys: "{SHIFT}{ALT}" works but "{ALT}{SHIFT}" does not
I think I found a clue. {ALT}{NUM6}{NUM8} with Method 3 (during) partially does the trick so I a have a "D". But basically what I'm trying to do is this ":D{RETURN}" (I use it for viber chat when I type in Bulgarian) however the combo for ":" is "Alt+58" so th...

Re: Right button do nothing?
Hi there, Yes, XMBC can do that and so much more :). In your case I could suggest using the "Button chording" feature. Simply said, you can press&hold one mouse button down and then press second button to send a custom command. So for example you can set XMBC to send "Left click&q...
