Re: Choose different mouse button behavior based on cursor movement

Right now that's not going to be possible, there is an option in the button held to "abort" the hold if you move the mouse... Sounds to me like you want the opposite - to act as held if the cursor moves.... That would be doable (I'll add it to the TODO list) but I cant make any promises on timescale...

Re: Button Held + Chording in the same time

No it is not possible at the moment, the chording and held are rather complex code paths (in comparison to the rest of XMBC) and are not currently compatible with each other. I'm not really sure layers will help much here for similar reasons but I have never really tried it. A significant amount of ...

Re: How to run external commands/scripts when XMBC profile is activated?

Urm, no its probably not right now..... , But its a great idea and I can see for those with RGB configs, that could be a great little indicator/helper, so I'll see what I can do.....

I cant promise anything quickly but it will be added to the list!

Re: Using Xmouse with Elecom mouse setting tool in tandem

Hi Neil, Firstly, its not possible to determine/limit which devices XMBC controls. XMBC uses Windows low level hooks to intercept and remap the mouse buttons - and they are device independent (as in, the hook messages provide no information regarding the physical device that generated the message, a...

Re: Timing

Sorry, I don't know of any others myself. Not to say there aren't others, I just don't know (especially when it comes to defeating anti-cheat type software for games!)

Re: the app confliect with microsoft new winui 3 framework

Yeh the "scroll window under the cursor" stuff is not really required in Windows 10 since Windows does it by default these days. Perhaps I need to change the default settings to not enable it (at least on Windows 10 :)). Glad you found the solution and thanks for making it public (I'm away from home...

Re: Timing

Sorry, right now its not possible to specify a specific number of repeats, you can only repeat a key while the button is held down. I guess you could just type: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxy or maybe x{waitms:50}x{waitms:50}x{waitms:50}x{waitms:50}x{waitms:50}x{waitms:50}x{waitms:50}x{waitms:50}x{...

My 2021 (should have been 2020) Charity Plea!

Hello All, Over the first weekend in October 2021, I and two friends will be taking part in the 27th Club Triumph Round Britain Reliability Run The event, which was originally scheduled to run in October 2020 (I'm sure you can guess why it was delayed a year), once again involves a 2000 mile drive a...

Re: XBMC stops working.

Hi, OK something looks to have gone wrong while initializing XMBC's threads. I have also had this happen very occasionally, normally when resuming from sleep. This appears to be at application startup (from the log) is that right? I may have already fixed this in an internal alpha/beta - but I haven...

Re: A question about button chording

Thank you for your reply! I'm Sorry for my poor English. What I mean is that I want to press a mouse button followed by a keyboard key to trigger a button chording instruction. This feature will come in handy on the ThinkPad keyboard. Ah OK I understand now. This one may be tricky... As it is a fair...

You should already be able to do this - in the chording setup, select simulated keystrokes as the action and you can assign any key or key sequence,

Re: 6 and 7 buttons

Good afternoon. I did not find an answer whether it is possible to add additional buttons to those that already exist in the program. Because I have a trackball with 4 additional buttons 2 configured, and 2 I can't there are no additional windows for configuration. Well you clearly didn't search ve...

Re: About double clicking with the middle mouse button

XMBC can not see double clicks. XMBC uses mouse hooks which does not have any visibility of single/double click. All XMBC sees is "button is pressed", "Button is released" - no concept of double or triple or whatever number of clicks. So not possible in XMBC. To do this you would have to block the f...

Re: Volume keys TO NORMAL mouse keys

I'm not entirely sure if you are asking a question in there or just letting me know what you have found (thanks). Looks like that interception thing use a driver so it will be operating at a lower level than XMBC which I guess is why it works better in games - it even mentions being used by game bot...
