Re: Button mapping to window/screen parts?
It wont take ages :) Everything MainTrane asked for (pretty much) has already been done and is in testing (as he alluded to in his message :)) Thanks for the information about PowerPro though - sounds interesting. The next version of XMBC is going to do a lot more that the current one (and so far, I...

Re: What mice work with XMBC?
You are running Vista or later right (otherwise the scroll will never work in XMBC)? Presumably the horizontal scroll is not sending the standard windows WM_HSCROLLWHEEL messages - but as to why - I don't know. Does the horizontal scroll work in windows explorer/ie without the mouse's own software i...

Re: Inpout32 x64 License
There are no specific restrictions on my x64 port of InpOut32. I don't think there are any restrictions on the 32bit ImpOut32 but if there are, they would apply to the port I made too I suppose. Check logix4u.net for any license t&c's that the author of ImpOut32 makes. I notice he asks for a don...

Re: Buttons aren't working in Autocad 2009 win 7(x32)
OK, I don't like the look of "Tried to send 2752672 keystrokes, sent 0 keystrokes" that smells of a bug to me - I will try and look tomorrow, but XMBC is in midst of a rather large overhaul right now so I might not be able to reproduce this (esp. as I don't have autocad). Do you have this ...

Re: Buttons aren't working in Autocad 2009 win 7(x32)
Hi,
This is very strange - I dont understand why it might not work in Autocad. Have you setup a profile for autocad or do the default profile button settings also fail? Can you perhaps try enabling debug logging and see if there is anything in the log file indicating problems?
Thanks,
Phil

Re: 4th and 5th swap doesnt work
Thanks, I will have a look and see if I have broken something. I don't use the swap option here, only the swap in remote desktop so I might have missed it.
Thanks,
Phil

Re: Any way to save profiles?
Yes, I saw that MSDN link too. that funciton would be easy to use withing XMBC but....
Sunshy, do you still want an option in the generic settings to toggle this?
I don't think it will be difficult but I'm not sure its really appropriate in XMBC.

Re: Simulated keystrokes are sent twice in Windows Photo Vie
Actually XMBC doesn't work at all whan I bind any other button than the scroll wheel, as I already assigned them to special functions in setpoint and it is always these functions that are executed instead of XMBC settings. I guess there's a problem there too ? If you configure setpoint to change th...

Re: Strongly suggest add mouse button as modifier keys
This is already supported using the layer dropdown options in the main screen (and thus can be configured per application). For example: Set button 4 to "Layer 2" and while the 4th button is held down, layer 2 will be active. Is this what you are trying to achieve? This functionality has b...

Re: Need zoom feature from scrolling
Now why didnt I think of that - yes MainTrane's suggestion is far better than mine - and does not require layers :) Im not sure why my method cause you trouble though - may need to look into that seperatly. MMB should have switched to layer 2 when held, and then the scroll up/scroll down combos for ...

Re: Need zoom feature from scrolling
Try this....
Layer 1
Middle button -> Layer 2
Layer 2:
Scroll up - sim keys: {CTRL}{MWUP} (pressed)
Scroll down - sim keys: {CTRL}{MWDN} (pressed)
Give that a try.
Thanks,
Phil

Can anyone recommend a good bluetooh/wireless mouse?
OK, I give up with cheap Chinese imports lol. Can anyone recommend a good wireless (pref. bluetooth I think - as I only have 2 USB ports to play with) mouse for my laptop. It must have 5 buttons minimum and ideally a tilt wheel. But here's the crunch - I'd rather not spend a lot of money on it, whic...
