Re: Can't start XMBC on WinXP 32bit
Probably I will get it working on a fresh XP (at least I hope so :?), but I was trying to find out what went wrong on the current systems so I could prevent it from happening again in the future, or even better to know how to fix it if it happens :) Of course it would be ridiculous to go back to old...

Re: Can't start XMBC on WinXP 32bit
Don't do that yet. I'm going to get another old PC from a firend these days. And I will install fresh 32 bit XP.

Re: Can't start XMBC on WinXP 32bit
No one else has had problems with XP (although that could be because no one else still uses XP :)). I'm afraid so :?. I was hoping that someone else would report something similar by now but ... Unfortunately my cousin gave her PC to someone else a while ago so I don't have access to it :( but I'll...

Sim Keys not working on a 'Specific window' profile
I have 3 'Specific window' profiles hovering over the 'system tray'/'Clock'/'Start button' which I use for Volume/Brightness +/- and running some apps without any problem. I've just noticed that trying to send {CTRL}{SHIFT}{ESCAPE} (Task manager) or {LWIN}e (Windows explorer) doesn't work on that pr...

Re: Can't start XMBC on WinXP 32bit
Yeap, I suspected that it will work again on your side, that was what I was afraid of :? I have a strange feeling that something could be missing/messed up on my PC, but would the installation complete at all if say some file is missing or something in the registry is messed up? I went through the '...

Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta
Can you please add a Hotkey for the 'Hide icon' option coz very often I accidentally click it when trying to open the Setup window or the Log file from the context menu. Then every time I have to go to Settings>Advanced to disable the 'Show tray icon by default' option and then go there again to ena...

Re: {pause} not working
I have played around with the On-Screen kbd (win8.1) and it seems that {CTRLBREAK}, {BREAK}, {VKC:3} and {EXT:3} are all activating the Scroll Lock. Translating Middle Button Down Key state 0x0: Action 28 [Simulated Keys '{CTRLBREAK}' (pressed)] SendInput::SendKeyState: VKCode=0x3 Scan code=0xe046 S...

Re: Can't start XMBC on WinXP 32bit
Well I have read somewhere that when creating a program in 'visual studio' (VS) you have to specify the older versions of VS which you want your software to be also able to work with (or something like that), but I'm sure you know that, so is it possible to have skipped some old versions? On the oth...

Re: HEllo, URGENTLY NEED HELP/
When you open the Setup window, click on Mouse Button 4 to open the drop down list and select 'Simulated Keys (Undefined)'. Then enter {SHIFT} in the text field and chose option '3 During (press on down, release on up)' just below the text field. Or you can chose another option...

Re: Use 2 key strokes at same time
OMG :D they work perfectly, I just haven't realized that the first field can be left to 'None' and use any single key as Layer modifier! Maybe you should add some note for that option coz I'm sure there would be more people like me to think that some button must be selected in the first field in ord...

Re: Can't start XMBC on WinXP 32bit
I installed 'Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015' (13.1mb), but no difference :( I opened the 'Event viewer' and tried to start both installed and portable versions but nothing gets logged in system or application logs at that moment. Tried starting both in safe mode - unsuccessfully. ...
