Re: Website based auto key assignment switching
Maybe the window does not have a parent - its not uncommon and not all windows have parents - especially browser tabs which are often sub-processes and therefore top level windows (not child windows) these days - my browser (waterfox which is a port of firefox) does the same. It shouldn't be a prob...

Re: Website based auto key assignment switching
You can create profiles and use the Window Caption to identify specific web pages. I know nothing about creating chrome extensions and have no interest in doing so - but you should need to do this. Just create a window specific profile for chrome and use the caption box to identify the specific pag...

Re: are there problems relataed using more than 1 mice?
XMBC is unable to determine the source of mouse messages - that is, it uses Windows mouse hooks, which do not indicate the source. So it depends what you mean by problems! Detecting the device is not possible - and if you send button down on two devices at the same time before button up, it could c...

Re: bug or my issue, xmouse change my windows mouse settings
The normal log is pretty useless - to get anything useful, turn on debug logging in the logging and updates tab... Then exit XMBC and reproduce. NOTE: This setting will turn off when you re-load XMBC - as in the debug setting does not persist across restarts - you can launch XMBC with the /Debug co...

xmouse doesn't restore my windows settings
Oh sorry, you are right - I don't generally build a portable package for the beta. However, the content is actually the same, if you download the installer and install it (temporarily) you can then copy the .EXE and two .DLL files from the installation folder over the portable files on your USB sti...

Re: bug or my issue, xmouse change my windows mouse settings
Yes it will be released soon - I have been waiting a few weeks for feedback on one issue that someone has reported in 2.18.x which no one can reproduce - so I probably wont wait much longer as other than that its pretty much good to go - so if you still have this issue in there it would be good to ...

Re: bug or my issue, xmouse change my windows mouse settings
Hi, XMBC does change this Windows setting - that is the point - but it should also change it back again when the profile is not active and/or XMBC is closed. I believe there have been a few fixes in this area already for 2.19 with is imminent but if you would like to try the beta (find it on the be...

Re: update resets and request more buttons pushed together
On the one where you said... i did what have you suggested and i can get almost my task So close but not quite there. Is that because you want to do it globally for the monitor, regardless of the window? I didn't realize you had asked before :) Regarding shutdown - no no such options in XMBC but no...
