One final thought - that may help... Can you let me know what sort of settings you are using. I.e. what buttons do you configure and what actions are assigned (for the custom program). EDIT: Ahhha. I know what's going wrong. The system gets the \"normal\" mouse down message.. then changes ...

Hi Marcus, That specific information is great - it will help me track down the problem. I will try and look into it tomorrow evening. Its a little bit difficult debugging because every time I break the program the mouse stops responding (because the hook is still set but the code is stopped)! Howeve...

Thanks Marcus, let me know how you get on with 1.33 The reason its not mentioned specifically is that I thought it was only a problem with the click-drag code that was new in 1.33. However the \"fix\" that I made applied to all buttons... The fix was to remember that I had begun an action ...

Hi Markus, Thanks for reporting this. I have seen it before myself but havn't been able to pin it down to any specific code. I have only noticed it in the latest version - have you noticed it prior to the latest? I was beginning to think it was the \"click - drag\" I put in the new code bu...

Well I can verify that I have that problem too after setting XMouse to run as administrator... But after a very quick google, it seems this may not be \"fixable\". I will investigate but for now, Ive turned off the run as admin option because Id rather not have to click that \"Blocked...

OK, I've been doing this now :) the easy way... Find the EXE... its in c:\\program files\\Highresolution Enterprises\\XMouse Button Control...... The folder is different for 32bit and 64bit but it should be obvious when you get there. Right click the EXE and select Properties. On the \"Compatib...

OK, any problems let me know - I have to admit to not spending a huge amount of effort in quality control - its not my strongest skill :) Generally I use XMouse in RDP quite a bit - at both ends.. I have found that RDP will not pick-up the custom mappings from the local end and apply them to the rem...

XMouse Button Control v1.33

I have just released v1.33 which adds some requested fetaures. Added {WAIT<n>} to simulated keystrokes. Where <n> is the number of seconds to wait. Added Click-Drag [Sticky Button] options for left, right and middle. As requested by Kelly - see this thread for more details. Thanks, Phil

Well, the easy way to fix that, is to run XMouse as administrator. That should allow it to work with both admin (elevated) and non-elevated apps. But of course, it means you will get asked if you want to allow it, every time you run XMouse. I still havn't found a way of running XMouse elevated witho...

Hi, Firstly, v64Mouse, If you have UAC enabled in Vista and your program runs in admin mode then XMouse will not work in that program unless XMouse runs in admin mode (which it does not do by default). Does the \"Right Mark CPU Clock\" utility ask for elevated permissions every time you st...

XMouse Button Control v1.31

OK this one is a fairly minor update. It adds the {SPACE} simulated keystroke as requested. It adds \"Show Sidebar *Vista Only*\" as requested. It adds an option to reverse the X buttons (4th and 5th buttons) when running under remote desktop. I needed this because my logitech buttons are ...
