Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta

Yes I know and I'm a bit wary on this one - its just there are quite a lot of people asking for sch functionality, here (not in the beta thread) and by email. Well then bring it up! Can't wait to see how it's gonna look like :) I'll see about setting up a sub-forum, but the problem with that is peo...

Oh, that crappy windows, I thought it's not gonna mind that :haha:

Then the best is gonna be like chording. I also think the timer is not a good idea, it even seems kinda useless IMO :?

Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta

I'm not sure I want to commit to anything up front. And I'm certainly not going to make any promises on time scales - XMBC gets my time as and when I can spare some - its not something I can afford to have any hard timescales/deadlines. It's not about committing or making promises, actually it's ju...

Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta

Happy to hear that :!: Can't wait to see :) I just wanna say a few words about beta testing. This is the first time I take part in beta testing (I'm using XMBC since v2.12.1 but unfortunately I've missed the 2.13 beta phase :() and I see there are only a handful of people participating, which is a s...

Re: Mouse Movement to Scroll eats the Click!

Well unfortunately XMBC couldn't know when it will be just a click and when not, hence it won't be able to decide whether to pass the 'button pressed' message or not. Now for the 'button released' message maybe there is a chance but I hope it won't be overcomplicated, although it would be nice to ha...

Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta

there are some other options, like using another image button control. glad to hear that :), I believe it will give you the solution. Of course you deserve a break man! After all, 3 months of hard work and sleepless nights looks pretty stressful to me for a hobby project, I even wonder whether we c...

Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta

Mmm, thanks for that! Not that I'm familiar with any of these but at least now I have a clue about your suspicion. These UpdateWindow(), Invalidate(), RedrawWindow() APIs sound like they regard to the main window and not the tab window itself, is that so or I have misunderstood? As I think of it, be...

Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta

Well I don't think there will be much complaints (if any at all) coz it happens so rarely (well probably it's gonna happen more often on slower machines) and it's not something functional that affects the work of XMBC. Plus you only need to reopen the setup window or change the layer and it's gone. ...

Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but ... v2.14-tab content bug.jpg Again several apps and 2 browsers were open for a few hours and when I switch to some app or tab in a browser, which has been minimised for a long time, the laptop struggles to visualize it and opening the XMBC's setup window at t...

Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta

Hi Phil, that's great news! It's been quite busy week for me. Briefly said, I updated to beta 16 and saw that there are problems, but since BriHecato had already reported them - I just reverted back to beta 15 coz there were some things I needed to get done fast. After that, in beta 17 I haven't not...

Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta

Well the only thing I noticed is that the both times it happened the laptop was at a decent load with some other apps. It doesn't happen when the laptop is idle. I have the strange feeling that something interrupts XMBC at the moment it is drawing up the tab contents. Could it be some messed up timi...

Re: HELP ME, CAN I ADD BUTTON FUNCTION FOR MY MOUSE?

For your RMB select 'Button Chording' and in the chording window select 'Middle click' for your LMB. That's it :)

Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta

It just happened to me twice :( - beta 15 on win 8.1. First time I opened the setup window from the context menu of the tray icon and the only missing things were the 'grey' gear buttons and the 'reset layer' button which is in the same column with the gear buttons. Second time I opened the setup wi...

Re: Mouse Movement to Scroll eats the Click!

Nice :), plus the commands list will become a bit shorter.
