I noticed that the gray plus is smaller and hasn't its center in the same place as the red one. When I activate chording and red plus appers I still can see a gray horizontal line from that plus. Is that on purpose?

As I explained to someone else last week this option is related to actions that use a held type thing - so any simkeys during/repeat while down and any click drag type thing you will notice - it wont release the action until you release the button, where as without the option it will release the ac...

Personally I like the current version.
And I already said earlier that after last held action is executed dots should vanish.
And btw, what the option "wait until physical button is released" does anyway? I don't see a difference.
