OK I think I have found/fixed the problem with chording introduced in beta 34.
But as I don't yet have my new certificate (come on Certum!) I will have to wait to build the (beta) release package
Hopefully by Monday it will be available!

Re: XMBC 2.21 Beta
That may be enough to go on for now.... If per tiny chance I get the new certificate tomorrow (not likely), and I steal a little time from *cough* work *cough* (also not likely), then I will have a look tomorrow - else it will have to wait for a while.

Re: XMBC 2.21 Beta
Ahhh OK so in your case, the "unblock if mouse moves" is unticked? That may be relevant because for me its always ticked.. Maybe I missed something and its broken if its NOT ticked.. Thanks, that's good info I think! EDIT: Indeed after un-ticking that box, it is not working as I would expe...

Re: XMBC 2.21 Beta
My bad! Or mine for posting just the little efficient update package rather than the full installer (which includes the x86, x64 versions and the user guider (which is the big bit lol)). Never-mind at least we worked out what went wrong and why - and its not something I have to worry about/look at....

Re: XMBC 2.21 Beta
I clicked accidentally link to Beta33 again you posted for me and noticed now it downloaded other file. Yestarday versus today name and weight: XMBCUpdateX64.2.21 Beta33.exe / 1,64 MB XMouseButtonControlSetup.2.21 Beta33.exe / 3,68 MB Yes, I linked to the FULL install not the update install - safer...

Re: XMBC 2.21 Beta
Good to know jhonGL encountered same problem as me, specifically you can't reproduce it yet on your machines. It shows it may be more common. He may describe what exactly happen in his case and maybe also drop log file, specifically my profiles are for Photoshop, so hard to apply on your side. It s...

Re: XMBC 2.21 Beta
Instead of just running it from the download folder, i copied it to C:\Program Files\Highresolution Enterprises\X-Mouse Button Control, renamed it to XMouseButtonControl. It then spam opened browser tabs without a way to do anything other than win restart. Not a bug then. The executable above is th...

Re: XMBC 2.21 Beta
Moved what to what install folder? The download above is the update installer (its a mini-installation package (x64 only) that XMBC usually uses to perform auto-updates). Normally XMBC would download it to the temp folder and call it. It will close XMBC and update (or in this case downgrade it) and ...

Re: XMBC 2.21 Beta
I don't understand what you mean by "configure the amount of movement to break the chord", but so far I never had to do any additional action to use chords. Should I change something in every chord I ever set to adjust XMBC to my needs? The new option in the chord setup window, next to &q...

Re: XMBC 2.21 Beta
No, I'm sorry, that's an absolutely terrible idea. What I need to do is find and fix the problems, not leave two code paths, both broken in different ways! The new/latest version *should* work exactly as before if you do not adjust the default movement to break the chord (the default I think is 5 pi...

Re: Is it possible to add a vid,pid filter for the mouse?
No sorry, as explained in the FAQ, XMBC uses mouse hooks which do not give ANY indication of which device the message came from. The only way you could distinguish that would be to use Raw/Direct input (which you can not modify or block - so that's pretty useless) or create a device/filter driver th...

Re: XMBC 2.21 Beta
OK the movement to abort XMBC was causing m grief (cancelling the chord too quickly on a sensitive mouse). That's why I made it configurable. What I found when testing that, was that the larger the distance, the bigger the problem when aborting the chord (for example when dragging). So I spent quite...

You clearly haven't not read the forum rules as a) you have asked a question asked twice already in the last 2 weeks, and b) you did not fill in the post template as requested.

Re: XMBC 2.21 Beta
2.21 Beta 33 - https://www.highrez.co.uk/scripts/downloadversion.asp?package=XMouseBeta&version=2210033 There were some changed around how the chord is released, you can now configure the amount of movement to break the chord - but that should stay as it was unless you actually change it.... Oth...

Re: Logitech G305, not working without Logitech GHUB
Sorry was away this weekend (and the next few). I really don't know how it can be working without G-Hub and then just stop working including highlighting. The only reason I can think of for XMBC to stop responding the mouse messages, if it takes too long to respond to the Windows message hook, Windo...
