Re: Implement Mouse Chording

Well I've been thinking what would be better, 'swap layers' or 'move layer left/right', but moving left/right is basically swapping with the adjacent layer, so it seems that 'swap' is the logical choice as it also gives the opportunity to swap nonadjacent layers. And about the 'copy' option, on seco...

Re: Implement Mouse Chording

Found something unusual when copying profiles containing 'Button Chording' :? In the copied profile all (initial) buttons which are assigned to chording are there, but when I open the chording window - all (secondary) buttons are set to 'No Change (Don't intercept)' so I had to manually copy the set...

Re: Implement Mouse Chording

I think some viruses and malware can do that, but I never expected it from a game. In fact the process was showing up only for a few seconds when the game client was starting. It's '.bin' and is '32 bit' application if that could be a clue. I've got another app that also works with the game (except ...

Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta

Well you've already made our lives easier with this great app, so I don't think you need to make any promises to anyone :) For me it's easy to spit out all kinds of ideas since I don't know what it takes to implement them (maybe that's why they re so insightful :haha:), however the last thing I woul...

Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta

Well your answer just led me to an even better idea :D Instead of multiple apps in single profile, it would be much better/simpler to stay like it is now. The 'Copy option' is already there so it is easy to make same profiles for many apps. Just some kind of categorization (or maybe a multilevel tre...

Re: Implement Mouse Chording

Oh, thanks very much for that detailed explanation :) Now I begin to understand some things which I've been trying to explain to myself but without any success til now. I've played on several private servers in the past and I've used a couple of clickers that always worked but it turned out that the...

Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta

Here is an idea about the todo list (if it's not already there :)). Similar to the 'Hover over the system tray' feature but instead of hovering over a particular window, just hover over an area predefined by coordinates no matter what is actually there on the display. In that case probably one shoul...

Re: Implement Mouse Chording

Finally managed to do some decent tests and post a reply :) Ive also modified the code to detect the second chord button being released after the first, and blocking the non-chorded action happening when that button is subsequently released (I hope). I see that now the chord is executed when the sec...

Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta

That's OK, but that means that the problem is still present in 2.14 beta 3 so we all have to download the full 2.14 beta 4 right? I was wondering whether the 'Check for update...' option from the RMB menu of the system tray icon also checks for beta versions when 'Check for beta versions' is enabled...

Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta

Hi Phil, currently I have 'Check for beta versions' enabled on my 2.14 Beta 2 and 'Check for new versions' - every day, but two days have passed already since 2.14 Beta 3 was released and I don't get notification for it. Also when I press 'Check for update...' from the RMB menu of the tray icon it s...

Re: XMBC 2.14 Beta

OK, first to mention a thing about notifications till it is 'beta' time :). I have separate hotkey for each layer and when I switch to say 'Layer 2' I get a notification that 'Layer 2' is activated and the XMBC icon changes accordingly, but if I switch quickly to another layer - the XMBC icon change...

Re: Implement Mouse Chording

Surprise, surprise :)

Happy to catch up the good news!

I hope tomorrow I would be able to devote a couple of hours to try the new changes and post my findings.

Greetings!

Re: Implement Mouse Chording

Ie, If you have "button chording" assigned, the the initial button (or any action assigned as "default") does not get seen until you release it. Admittedly this mostly affects button1 [drag] button2 [mouse gestures] and maybe button3 for some applications, but for those who have only three-button m...

Re: Implement Mouse Chording

Looks like Button Chording is working perfectly and is quite simple and intuitive  Just two things I think need a touch: - When there already is a setting (lets say a 'Simulated keys') on a button that you want to use for initial button for chording, it would be better when you chose 'Button c...
